VIRGINIA BEACH—George Milton Beaton Sr., 87, of Virginia Beach died Friday, Feb. 3, 2012.

A funeral will be held Tuesday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, followed by burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Mr. Beaton, who was raised in Sedley, was a retired aircraft mechanic with Norfolk Naval Air Station.

Among his survivors is a sister, Edith Simms of Sedley.
