TA knocks off Brunswick Academy

WAKEFIELD—The Tidewater Academy boys’ basketball team improved to 15-6 overall with a 66-27 win over Brunswick Academy Friday.

Hunter Haywood led with 19 points in the win.

Ranked No. 2 in the Virginia Commonwealth Conference at 9-2, the Warriors played top-ranked and undefeated VCC foe Amelia Academy at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday; results were not available.
