BOYKINS—Lawrence Garris, 82, of Boykins died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at Nansemond Pointe Transitional Care and Rehabilitation Center, Suffolk.

Viewing will be held 1 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, at Faison’s Funeral Home in Seaboard, N.C. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at New Bethel Baptist Church, Boykins. Burial will be in the Oak Grove A.M. E. Church Cemetery, Como, N.C.

Survivors include sisters Pattie Evans of Norfolk and Truddie Barnes of Suffolk.
