CHESAPEAKE—Thelma Brittle, 89, died Oct. 20, 2012.

A funeral will be held at noon Friday, Oct. 26, at Metropolitan Funeral Service, Chesapeake. A wake will be held from 7-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Albert Horton Veteran Cemetery.

A Southampton County native, she is survived by daughters Catherine, JoAnn and Jeanie Brittle.
