EMPORIA—Daisy Elizabeth Wright Mayes, 83, died November 9, 2012, in Emporia.

Services were held Wednesday at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Emporia.

Locally, Mrs. Mayes is survived by a daughter, Mona Sumblin of Franklin.

Knox-High Mortuary, Emporia, handled arrangements.
