Wakefield man arrested for sexual assault

IVOR—A Wakefield man has been arrested for alleged aggravated sexual battery involving a female juvenile, the Southampton County Sheriff’s Office reported.

The investigation against Chris Holt, 30, was initiated on Nov. 29 after a complaint was made. The alleged incident occurred in September 2007, the sheriff’s office reported.

Holt, who is not related to the victim, was taken to Southampton County Jail without bond.
