YALE—Adelaide Kitchen Harrup died Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, on Oak Level Farm in Yale.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec.13, at Antioch Baptist Church, Yale.

A former postmaster in Yale, Mrs. Harrup is survived locally by a daughter, Georgia Webb of Yale; and a brother, Emerson Kitchen of Southampton County.

Owen Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
