SUFFOLK—Charles B. Bland, 88, of Suffolk died Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at Sentara Obici Hospital.

Mr. Bland retired from Lone Star LaFarge in Chesapeake.

Locally, he is survived by a daughter, Katherine Ruffin of Wakefield.
