MURFREESBORO, N.C.–Earl Trent Jr., 79, of Murfreesboro, N.C., died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012.

A service was held Thursday at Murfreesboro Baptist Church.

Mr. Trent served in the Air Force for 26 years retiring from Langley Air Force Base, Hampton.

He is survived by his wife, Daynelle Trent; and children Tina, David and Ronnie Trent, all of Texas.

Bridgers Funeral Home, Conway, was in charge of arrangements.
