MURFREESBORO, N.C.—John Sidney Vaughan, 67, of Murfreesboro, N.C., died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at Vidant Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie.

Funeral services were held Saturday at New Haven Baptist Church, Murfreesboro. Burial was in Carver Park Cemetery, Murfreesboro.

Hertford County Undertakers, Winton, handled arrangements.
