Franklin girls lose district game

FRANKLIN—The Franklin girls’ basketball team lost 56-32 to Tri-Rivers District opponent Surry on Wednesday.
Dikeya Cox led the Lady Broncos with seven points and13 rebounds.
The junior varsity squad also lost 45-13. Summer Winston led the Lady Broncos with six points.
Franklin at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, will host Appomattox Regional Governor’s School.
