Sedley man charged with felonious assault

COURTLAND—A Sedley man has been arrested for allegedly punching a Boykins man during an argument over a girl at 11:30 p.m. Feb. 16 on Cabin Pond Lane in Boykins, the Southampton County Sheriff’s Office reported

After Daniel Falcon, 24, of Johnson’s Mill Road allegedly hit John Hawthorne, 19, of East Street, the victim fell and hit his head on a step, said Major Gene Drewery.

Hawthorne was taken to Southampton Memorial Hospital

Falcon was charged with felonious assault.
