I don’t understand how your comment relates to the story. Businesses have been getting robbed for years. As long as there are dishonest people, robberies will happen regardless of who the president is.

I once rode through Courtland Va when I was a child. We stumbled upon a full blown KKK rally. These powers are still in full force. They just hide behind their keyboards now instead of robes!

I wonder what Neighborhood Scout would have said about our town 20 years ago? The current evaluations are very sad, especially for our school students. Isn’t it time for leadership changes?

Franklin is in a sad state. I looked up Neighborhood Scout as “Really” suggested. Statistics are pretty bad. Makes me sick.

Research Neighborhood Scout.com and see what is on the internet about our fair city. This is what people and businesses are seeing before coming to Franklin, after reading it I can see why no one decent wants to come here. High crime rate (4th highest in Va.), low education rates, high teen pregnancy, high substance abuse, high unemployment, high mental illness, high welfare rate, low number of residents paying taxes all contribute to this city’s lack of appeal and to the “white flight” from the area.

I’ll never understand why someone is allowed to own property if they can’t pay the taxes on it. It’s not right and you can see the results.

People come to own propert in several ways if you didn’t know. Some were left as inheritances and some were brought during “better times”. Do you people actually think before you post such stupidity!

I took you advice and looked up neighborhood scout. Pretty shocking statistics. Makes me pretty sick to see Franklin in such a sad state of affairs anymore. Certainly not the town I grew up in anymore.
