Engagement: Harrell and Pearce

WALTERS—Bill and Brenda Harrell of Walters are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Marie Harrell, to Robert Bryan Pearce Jr. of Franklin.
He is the son of Bryan and Leslie Pearce of Franklin.
She is the maternal granddaughter of Ann G. Williams and the late Cecil Williams Jr. of Carrsville and the paternal granddaughter of the late Henry and Eunice Harrell of Collosse.
He is the maternal grandson of the late Charles and Ann Snyder of Franklin and paternal grandson of Bob and Anne Pearce of Franklin.
The wedding is planned for May 15 at the home of the bride’s parents.

Wedding: Loving and Veach

NEWPORT NEWS— Faith Elaine Loving and Travis Michael Veach were united in marriage on Oct. 17 at 3 p.m. in the afternoon at First United Methodist Church.
Pastor Jeremy Nairn performed the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of John and Debra Loving of Roanoke.
She is the maternal granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Max Mustain of Tampa, and the paternal granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Loving Sr. of Lynchburg.
The groom is the son of Terry and Darnell Veach of Yorktown.
He is the maternal grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Morrow of Biloxi and the paternal grandson of Agnes Veach and the late Orlis Veach of Purgitsville.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted to the altar by her father.
Jenny Lankford of Franklin, best friend of the bride, served as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Meredith Loving of Houston, cousin of the bride, Hillary Shreve of Stafford, Emily Chapman of Sedley, and Katie Schafer of Courtland.
Jonathan Stone of Norman, best friend of the groom, served as best man.
Groomsmen included Kyle Olson of Yorktown, Adam Garrett of Yorktown, Adam Tripplett of Yorktown, and Michael Hossack of Alexandria, all friends of the groom.
Mandy Rogers of Windsor was the mistress of ceremony for the couple.
Ngoc Nhan of Stafford served as the guest book and program attendant.
The bride’s brothers, Jonathan and Joshua Loving, served as the ushers.
On Aug. 15, the bride was honored with a bridal shower at Southern Sisters Eatery and Bakery in Courtland by Connie Cornwell of Franklin and her daughter, maid of honor, Jenny Lankford.
The groom’s family hosted a rehearsal dinner on Oct. 16 at The Gathering Place in Yorktown.
The reception was held at the Langley Bayside Enlisted Club on Langley Air Force Base.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Franklin High School and a 2008 graduate of Christopher Newport University.
She is currently employed by Hampton Juvenile and Domestic Court.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of Tabb High School and a 2006 graduate of Christopher Newport University.
He is currently a firefighter/paramedic for the City of Newport News.
Following a honeymoon in the Bahamas, the couple reside in Yorktown.
