The City of Richmond shall be receiving $154 million from the American Rescue Plan Act, a regulation handed by Congress. The metropolis will obtain the cash in two funds of $77 million, a yr aside. 

The cash can be utilized on 4 priorities: responding to destructive public well being and financial results of the COVID-19 pandemic; offering premium pay for important staff; investing in water, sewer or broadband infrastructure and making up for income town misplaced in the course of the pandemic.
